Pocky x Snoopy - Pocky Limited Edition Spring 2013

Dear Pocky and Snoopy lovers ... 

Glico launched its latest collaboration event this spring, called Pocky x Snoopy. Therefore, from April 2013 we can find these Pocky chocolate, milk chocolate, strawberry, and almond crush in limited edition packages featuring Snoopy and his friends in the market. I like Pocky but rarely buy it. However, this time I couldn't resist the urge to try it, most likely because of the cute Snoopy and Woodstock. ^^

The unique thing is that all of them form a neat line, showing all the characters walking together as if they are going to the same spot: the bus stop. I also found that there are more than one front cover design for each flavor, so we don't have to buy each flavor to collect all the designs.

In fact, there is also another Pocky Snoopy edition : Pocky Coffee Cookie Crunch, but it seems this one is not inside the set of Pocky x Snoopy. I love this one more because it has a lotttt of Woodstock at the back of the package. I love Woodstock! ^_____^

This edition contains 3 packs of biscuit sticks coated with milk chocolate and crushed coffee cookies. The plastic packages separating the 3 packs inside also have Snoopy or Woodstock printed on them!

Back to the Pocky x Snoopy edition, there are total 11 designs of the back of the package. Not only that, this package has a special feature! They were designed somehow that we can make the characters hanging on our bag! O.o ... so difficult to explain by words ... Luckily they provide an informative picture to help us understand how the design supposes to work, even if we don't understand Japanese.

Just found this cute Doratch watch today. Doratch, by RUNAT, is a range of watches carrying the image of Doraemon. It was really a surprise to find this item these days, since it is the design of 1998. I don't find the latest designs that cute, though ... :( I love the "Doratch Standard" range the most because I think it shows Doraemon's young and creative spirit more.

This watch, titled 鈴 which means "bell", is part of "Doratch Standard" range that has been produced since 1997. It came in a transparent packaging in the shape of Doraemon's hand! O.o ... Amazing. I wish I had 2 of this. In fact, we saw two of them but I decided to buy just one of them.. Arghh.. now I regret it so much! :(

This design highlights Doraemon's bell as the main theme. The strap, mainly in white, has a lot of bells printed on it. In addition, second hand also exists in the shape of a big bell rotating in the center. Very cute. :) Definitely will hunt for more Doratch watches!

New Choco Ball drink ... and Kyoro chan

I have been developing the habit of checking the racks in detail trying to find new things every time I go to supermarkets or snack shops. This time I found ...

The taste was not as imagined, but it was unique and I find it quite light compared to other milky drinks. The peanuts flavor is quite strong, so definitely it's not just like a normal chocolate milk. The parrot at the packaging is  called Kyoro chan. Isn't it cute?! So excited! Kyoro chan is definitely the new character I'm obsessed with this year! ^^

Kyoro chan (キョロちゃん) is a Japanese cartoon character that is a mascot for Choco Ball, a brand of Morinaga chocolate. Due to its popularity, this super cute parrot had his own anime series in 1999-2000 and a movie which was released around 2000-2001 in Japan, as well as soft toys and other related merchandises.

Kyoro chan has a lot of expressions, but he always looks happy and smiling. I love this character because it just simply brightens my day and makes me smile just by looking at him. ^^ In this case, I’m going to hunt for Kyoro chan soft toy to put it on my desk, so hopefully working won’t be so boring anymore! ^_^

I mentioned before in my previous post, that there is a chance to win Kyoro chan merchandise if we are lucky. I still wish I could win! ^___^ But yah... it seems impossible.

Anyway, I just changed my display wallpaper to Kyoro chan wallpaper downloaded from the official Kyoro chan / Choco Ball website from Morinaga. The website is exxxtremely cute and gives a happy feeling just by looking at it! You have to check it out! And of course, don't miss the video below!

Fluffy socks are back !

It's really getting colder these days !! I'm pretty sure the snow will fall in 1-2 weeks.. >_____<
*sigh..* ... *depressed* ... anyway, if we think positively, it's time to shop for soft fluffy warm stuffs again for winter... and of course we cant miss... new fluffy socks! just bought them yesterday hehee... guess which socks are mine!! ^^

Relief in my lab

Happyyyyy !! I managed to do my speech quite smoothly today ! ^________^ I was so worried because it is always very hard for me to memorize japanese words coz sometimes one word is similar with the other. Besides, the pronunciation somehow makes me tired too... __ __ ! *ha..ha..* i think you know what i mean... Japanese has a lot of words that needs  a bit of extra energy to pronounce. for example: the one with しょう、しゅう、etc.. O.o .. Anyway, I will post something from my speech next time.

Today I did about the same thing.. attending classes and having lunch after that. After that, I had to go to the academic office to settle my re-entry permit extension issue for my visa application.. >___< One of the staffs contacted me, and she said that the Japan Immigration cannot extend my visa earlier than 3 months before expiry date if the reason is for visa application for travelling or sightseeing.. ___ ___ ! in this case, I had to apply for some certificate from university, which required me to get my professor's signature.

... and I had to apply for it today because she needs 2 days at least to finish the document for me. Moreover, I only have 10 days from the embassy to send the thing to them. Besides, my sensei won't be here tomorrow, and today he is exxxxtremely busy. his schedule is full...

OH. MY. GOD.

Honestly, I really want to avoid disturbing him more about things related to the trip !!! >__________< PUNCH !!!!! *sigh* but anyway, i got it already, and i applied for the certificate today. I feel less tensed after I came back to my lab... just try to focus : 

I'm going to Spain ! yuhuuu... I will see my boyfriend again soon ! ^__^

So, now it's time to relax a bit !!!

Back massagers : love rabbit (Singapore), crab (Taiwan)

I feel so comfortable in my lab. hmm.. some labs make the people stressed because they are full of books, papers, etc, which give them the feeling 'OMG ! I have to study !'. however, my lab is nice.. ^^ I decorated my place a bit too somehow.. I put some foods to make me happy, ('some' means ... 'a lot'. HAHA.. although they are still nothing compared to what my senpai has inside his drawer.. ___ ___! ) and some cute collections !!! ^_____^ they are so cute and make me happy ! ^___________^

The one i posted here are all gifts from my lab mates. (well.. one of them was my gift to my lab mate.) The ones on top are back massagers. The story was quite funny. Last summer I went to Singapore for holiday, while my senpai went to Korea for conference. When we met after the holiday, I brought him this love rabbit massager as souvenir (he loves love rabbit..), and he brought me this crab massager from Korea !!! O.o ... Why did both of us buy back massagers at the same time !??!?! what a coincidence !!

The fluffy sheep was actually my senpai's. However, soon he realised that I love it sooo much, and I kept playing with it, until he got the message clearly, 'IT'S MINE ! IT'S MINE !'.. then he gave it to me.. O.o .. HAHA. thank youuu, amir !! ^__________^ Ah btw, the peach hand cream was from my other lab mate who went to Korea too for conference. It is really cute !! I havent used it until today. hehee..

Bread sponge (Taiwan)

 The sponge bread was from Amir too. It was from taiwan, and it is quite interesting to see the 'made in taiwan' words there, because usually we expect to see 'made in china' when we buy most of the general souvenirs we bought from all over the world, except the hand-mades, hahahaha __ __ ! it's very cute and special ! ^__________^

so.. those are some of my collections ! my advice is... put some stuffs that you like in your workplace, so you will have more motivation and support psychologically when you need to work a lot there ! ^_^

Artworks for today !

Today is my friend's birthday. She was one of the first few people I met here, and eventually she became one of my closest friends. this year is the last year I'm going to celebrate her birthday in Sapporo i suppose, coz next year she will go back to her country after graduation. therefore... i felt like drawing something for her. It was quite difficult earlier because I like to have good concepts for my drawings all the time. However, I decided to draw the first idea I had about her in my mind, which is... this one !

I remember that she loves chocolate, and I caught her many times snacking chocolate in any forms in the class.. haha ! ^^ mmm... I got to enjoy too because she offered me some =P hihihi... *punch myself* the thing isss... she cannot grow fat after eating so much chocolate everyday !!! OMG !!!!

On the other hand, another good friend of mine asked me to help him drawing something for the invitation email of the event he is handling now. I was in a low mood last week and it was a bit hard to find some ideas for invitation actually, but of course I always love to draw simple sketches, so why not ? i said yes. Luckily he told me that I can draw anything I want. haha =P ... i just got this idea this weekend when i was thinking about the characters in my 'imaginary world', and my new character too, the sheep, so I decided to draw them. This is the result :

The sheep is another character of my boyfriend, actually ^^ poor him.. i always make fun of him by making him cute characters instead of cool characters... O.o .. Peace ! *hugs*
